Aircheck Oddities & Montages

I have a few oddities in my collection, and more will be added in time.

• cassette of various scoped airchecks from 1986 :45 {m0191}

• various 2001-2005 aircheck montage, largely from Seattle :30 {m0112} 

• I was in Chicago's NW burbs recording 89.3 WNUR-FM, which went off the air just after 2pm and 89.1 WONC/Naperville was able to come in. I just kept recording! Then after :30, WNUR-FM came back on with the cartooney tale of "Gregory Peckery." It sounded like a student's project, perhaps? The whole thing is :70. Interesting stuff! Here are the details:

Remember, these three are really one big 70-minute aircheck.

• I was recording 840 KTIC of West Point, NE while in Omaha, when it abruptly signed off for the day (without an ID). Dead air followed, while 840 WHAS of Louisville, KY gradually started coming in.
